Lindsay Lohan gets out of jail when bail denial is revoked by judge

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan was stunned by being sent to jail without bail; but, just a few hours later she was free again when a supervising judge reversed the bail denial ruled by Judge Elden Fox.

Lindsay Lohan allowed bail, will be released from jail

Lindsay's bondsman posted $300,000 bail on her behalf and she was out of the Lynwood Correctional Facility just a few hours after she went in.
Originally, Judge Fox ordered the actress to jail and would have been behind bars for 29 days, until her probation violation hearing on October 22. This was due to Lindsay's two failed drug tests, for which the judge made clear he would not tolerate.

Unfortunately, the law worked in the Mean Girls star's favor this time and she will be able to stay out of jail, at least until the hearing. However, Judge Schnegg, the supervising superior who reversed Judge Fox's ruling, ordered Lindsay to wear a SCRAM bracelet - again - as well as to keep out of alcohol-serving nightclubs staying and away from drug using friends.

When the embattled actress goes to her hearing in October, she will probably face up to 60 days in jail, but, no doubt, she will only serve a fraction of that, due to the overcrowding issues and other red tape. Hopefully, Judge Fox will smarten up this time and send Lindsay to in-patient rehab for an extended period of time.

He had the right idea by sending her straight to jail, but he should have never shorten her rehab in the first place. The judge was certainly left with egg on his face and should know he's dealing with a professional repeat offender that is used to getting her way.
