America's Got Talent: Jackie Evancho shines, Prince Poppycock snips back at judge
On the final night of America's Got Talent performances all four finalists did exceptionally well and it will be hard to pick a winner.
But, one act that especially shone was that of Jackie Evancho, who wowed the audience and judges with a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria. Once more, the tiny singer performed a nearly flawless opera number that truly sounded like an angel.
The humble and soft spoken 10-year-old brought everyone to their feet and will undoubtedly get countless votes for last night's performance.
And then, we had Prince Poppycock, who's on the other end of the spectrum, and he too sang marvelously, albeit in a more serious style. Singing Nessum Dorma, Poppycock showed his amazing vocal skills in a less outlandish number, which most agree was just as good as his other more outrageous performances.
However, judge Piers Morgan did not agree and buzzed the flamboyant vocalist in the middle of his performance. This is highly unusual at this point of the competition and it stirred a big controversy among the fans of the show.
Piers insists that Poppycock was not as good in a serious light and that he's best when he is funny and acts like a showman, and that's why he buzzed him. This was also unexpected coming from Piers, as Poppycock has been one of the British judge's favorites all throughout the competition.
Prince Poppycock was not too bothered by Piers negativity and he called the judge a "big ninny". He says he knows he gave it his all and it will now be up to America to vote for him.
Watch America's Got Talent tonight on NBC at 8 pm ET to see who will be the big winner of $1 million as voted by the viewers and fans.
