Elmo 'speaks' out about how he really feels about Katy Perry

In a recent video that was supposed to air on Sesame Street, Katy Perry sang a kid-friendly version of Hot N Cold with Elmo. But due to some complaints, the video was cut off and now Elmo has come out and said how he feels about Katy.

"She sings so well...and she's so pretty," The little furry guy told E!'s Daily 10 during the making of the now controversial video.

The Parents Television Council was glad for the removal of the video from Sesame Street's season premiere next Monday saying that, "While there is no doubt that Ms. Perry is an extremely popular performer today, the reality is that millions of families place their unbridled trust in Sesame Street as a source of age-appropriate entertainment for their children and grandchildren. We are grateful to Sesame Workshop for their prudent action in this matter."


The video, however, will remain available online for anyone who wants to see it. Some media outlets have expressed disagreement at the video's cut off, but many concerned parents wrote to Sesame Street saying they rather their kids see someone with more age-appropriate clothes on.

Ultimately it is the parents who have a say in what their kids should see, so we think Sesame Street did the right thing responding to their viewers' caretakers request.
