February 9, 2011 - The Vampire Diaries has been getting better and better, and the current season is no exception. Ian Somerhalder, who plays Damon Salvatore, gave us some info on what is coming at the end of the season.
Stefan's past resurfaces on 'The Vampire Diaries' next episode 'Crying Wolf'
Ian took some time to chat with JustJared.com and was asked all kinds of good questions regarding the show and his wicked (and not so wicked) character, Damon.
To start things off, Damon spoke a bit about his new girlfriend (or "distraction"), Andie Star (played by Dawn Olivieri). Apparently, she will play some kind of helping role for Damon other than being his snack whenever he's hungry.
Vampire Diaries producer: Michael Trevino's character, Tyler, is not bad
"It’s just awesome. I love the dynamic that they created with her and they’re sort of this little team. She’s helping him execute his plans and they’re really just an unlikely team." Ian explained.
Next, Ian got into the good stuff, giving some impending information on the arrival of Klaus and the infamous curse and sacrifice that will break it.
"I know that there’s going to be a pretty sizable showdown between the werewolves and vampires and I can’t imagine Klaus not showing up after all this talk." Ian said.
"So I don’t know," he continued, "I can only imagine the way I see things going so there will be a big showdown, its a problem."
