The young actress explained that the upcoming episodes will have lots of action, as well as many new characters. Nina also said that she can't wait for one particular new character, the highly anticipated Klaus.
'Vampire Diaries' producers continue the search for the role of Klaus
Nina said she'd love to see Sacha Baron Cohen come as the baddie vampire, saying it would be funny to see something no one was expecting.
"I think it'd be awesome if Sacha Baron Cohen came as his Austrian character." Nina joked, then added with a makeshift Austrian accent, "Hello my name is Klaus, can I suck your blood?"

"Stefan and Elena are working on some kinks, and Elena and Damon are still in the same place that they kinda always have been," Nina explained, "They've been jumping around between friendship and more - or less, or... hatred, it's just up and down."

When Kristin asked about a deeper connection between Elena and Damon, Nina said that she thinks opposites attract, and a relationship between the two characters would be interesting. She also added, however, that Nina still needs the stability of Stefan.So, it seems as if anything is open and it would not be far off to expect Elena and Damon to eventually hook up!
Other issues covered in the interview included the possible new spinoff series that TVD executives are working on as well as the remake of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.
