Michael Bolton tells DWTS' Bruno Tonioli to search his soul

After the controversy that went down on Dancing With the Stars last Monday due to judge Bruno Tonioli's harsh remarks to Michael Bolton, the singer has a message for him.

Michael said that, "Bruno should search his soul for what he is doing on that show."

The singer says he won't ask for an apology again, but he says he doesn't want to pressure the show and its producers, insisting he doesn't blame them.

"I asked for it in one interview and I felt he should express a public apology to me. I think asking once is enough, and I don't want my friends, fans and supporters to ask for it. It is what it is." Michael explained.

The award-winning artist was voted off the dancing show after receiving very low marks and a rude critique from Bruno on his jive. The judge said he danced "very, very, very badly" and that it was "the worst jive in 11 seasons."

DWTS producers came out in defense of Bruno after Bolton initially asked for an apology. ABC said that the outspoken judge was only doing his job and gave an honest opinion.

Michael takes full responsibility for his poor dancing, but said that, "The spirit of that show is lighthearted and inviting people to face something very, very scary and challenging and do something that enriches your life and the lives of the huge audience that is watching."

Dancing with the Stars: Dance Body ToneThe crooner does not want other celebrities to be turned off to the show because of he negative message Bruno's behavior gave. "It's not realistic to expect people to expose themselves to that kind of negativity that doesn't have a positive encouragement message connected to it," Michael added.
