Bristol Palin dropped from talking on abstinence panel at Washington University

January 28, 2011 -  Bristol Palin had been invited by the Student Health Advisory Committee to talk about abstinence, but was dropped from speaking on the panel due to student protests.

The young single mother was set to appear as part of the school's Student Sexual Responsibility Week, and was to receive a fee of at least $15,000. But, a protest soon started against the use of student-generated funds to pay for Bristol's appearance.

An interview with Bristol Palin on KWHL's The Bob & Mark Show raised the question of whether the Dancing With the Stars alum in dating a new guy.

The hosts of the radio show asked the single mom if the rumors about her dating an Alaskan pipeline worker she got a little coy and danced around the question.

It's week 9 on Dancing With the Stars and only four couples remained for Monday's semifinals. The contestants performed two dances for a total 60 points total.

Continuing her comeback was Jennifer Grey, who scored a perfect 30 in both of her dances with partner Derek Hough for a total of 60 points. Judge Bruno Tonioli complemented her routine by saying, "You need to go in anger management. … You danced like a fury."

Dancing With the Stars contestant Bristol Palin says that she will be umping up her sexiness on the next episode.

"I'm definitely nervous for next week, because I have to be sexy in the dance and I have to find the sexy in me," Bristol told People magazine.

On Monday night's episode of The Bachelor Pad, the new celeb contestants of Dancing With the Stars were announced.

Rumors were rampant on who made the cut, so there were few surprises; but ABC still managed to sneak a couple of not before-mentioned stars, including Disney Channel's Kyle Massey.

This season will see another (controversial) mom take on the dance floor when Bristol Palin makes her debut on reality tv. But the teen mom says that she's there to set an example for all moms.
