What's next for Christina Aguilera after divorce?

 Just two days ago Christina Aguilera announced that she and husband Jordan Bratman were separated and would see how a trial separation would go. But, today she unexpectedly filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences". So, what's next for the pop sensation?

For now, friends of Christina's say that she's just going to concentrate on being a good mom to the couple's 2-year-old son, Max.

"She's focusing on continuing to be a great mom. She's spending as much time as she can with Max."A friend told People magazine. Just shortly after the news about her divorce broke out, Christina was photographed taking her son out for some fun at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood.

Now that she'll be co-parenting while the divorce is finalized, it will be hard to work things out with Max, but they remain committed to do the best for the child.

"You've got to handle it with dignity. I don't think they've figured out everything yet. They have a child together, so they're trying to do what’s best." The friend said.

Onlookers that saw Christina with Max today said that she seemed very happy and not like she was going through a tough time.

"Christina looked anything but sad and it's hard to believe that she is going through a difficult breakup. She seemed very strong and just focused on keeping things normal for her adorable son."

In a report from TMZ it was stated that the singer had cheated on Jordan and that's what caused the marriage to fall apart. However, that has not been confirmed yet and Christina's reps refuse to comment on the issue.
