Jon Gosselin tells his ex Kate 'reality TV is not a career - get a simple life'

September 8, 2011 - Ex reality star Jon Gosselin tells his ex-wife Kate Gosselin that "reality TV is not a career" and to "get a simple life."

In a recent interview with RumorFix.com, Jon said that he has some advice for his ex Kate after she said she was concerned for the future of her family.

"Reality TV is not a career. Get back to a normal life," Jon said, "a simple life."

Apparently, Kate is very worried as to what she will do to provide for her eight kids now that her reality show, Kate Plus 8 has been canceled.

The Pennsylvania single mom has said that after so many years doing television work, she doesn't think she can do anything else, and would not be able to go back to being a nurse like she was before.

Jon, however, said that he's doing just fine working as a computer support engineer and leading a normal life. His home is much smaller than Kate's, but the kids have just as much fun when they are at his place.

But, when the cancelation of her show was announced, Kate claimed that she could do some behind-the-scenes producing work and remained hopeful she could still do something in television.

"As is very typical for me, I am choosing to see the positive in this situation and I am excited to consider the many more invigorating opportunities that may come my way." Kate Twitted, "I poured my entire self into the last six years of Kate + 8 and I can't wait to have the chance to challenge myself again with future endeavors!"

However, in a recent interview with People magazine, Kate admitted that she is unsure about what her future holds, "I'm really scared," she said, "I'm freaking out. Big time."

Kate said she'd do her best to do keep her big mansion in Pennsylvania and keep the kids at their current school, but that "there are no guarantees in life for anyone."

The last episode of Kate Plus 8 airs September 12 on TLC.

Dancing With the Stars cast for season 13 revealed!

August 29, 2011 - The cast for Dancing With the Stars season 13 has been revealed by ABC!

A leaked list of the contestants already made the rounds earlier today and it was on target except Ryan O'Neill was listed instead of Carson Kressley, whose name was left out.

However, the rest of the contestant list, leaked by @DWTSGossip, was correct.

The complete and official list for the cast of the next Dancing With the Stars is as follows:

August 25, 2011 - Jason Bateman is expecting another daughter with his wife Amanda Anka, his rep confirmed late on Wednesday.

Amanda's father, singer Paul Anka, first broke the news himself to ET Canada, saying, "I'm going to be a grandfather again. It's another baby girl."

David Arquette to be on 'Dancing With the Stars', sources claim

August 25, 2011 - David Arquette will be showing his dance moves this fall when he'll be making a stint on Dancing With the Stars, sources claimed on Thursday.

As reported by TMZ, David was seen going to the dance studio to meet with his pro-dance partner. Sources told the gossip website that the Scream star will be partnering up with Kym Johnson.

Jake Pavelka's elimination to be shown on the next 'Bachelor Pad' episode

This should be a good way for David to go back into the public eye in a positive way, after a very public split from his wife Courteney Cox.

The actor has been to rehab, was seen partying with drinks and girls, and gave various interviews where he claimed the split with Courteney was his own fault. Courteney herself said that she still loves David, but being married to him is like taking care of another child.

The couple have remained friends and are co-parenting their small daughter, Coco. They have not filed for divorce yet, and there is no word whether they will get back together as a couple.

'Jersey Shore's JWoww denies having had any recent plastic surgery

August 25, 2011 - Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley has been looking very different on the newest season of the notorious reality show, but, she insists she did not have any plastic surgery done recently.

The reality starlet has admitted to having work done in the past, but her new look is due to exercising more, she claims.

But, viewers of the show have said that she looks like she's had some major work done to her face.

"People are saying I got cheek implants, my chin shaved down and a nose job," JWoww recently told In Touch magazine.

Jenni definitely looks like she's done something to her face, however, as her lips look much plumper and her cheeks are tight. Her skin looks glazed and hard and it lost the youthful elastic appearance it had before.

"I lost 15 pounds and my cheeks have become more defined." Jenni added, "I highlight my cheeks instead of putting bronzer on them."

She also added that, "I'll probably get Botox by the time I'm 30 and have my breast implants redone in a few years after I've had kids.

New 'Vampire Diaries' episode stills from the season 3 premiere 'The Birthday'

August 23, 2011 - The first group of stills from The Vampire Diaries for the season premiere, The Birthday, were released on Monday by the CW.

The new stills offer a deeper look into the premiere episode of season 3, giving some hints as to what will be happening when TVD returns this fall.

Hilarious 'Vampire Diaries' season 2 gag reel released

As we had already seen in an earlier released still, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) will be having a meeting with werewolf Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher) in a bar, where they probably are conspiring for something.

One of the new stills in the same bar, features Klaus sitting by himself with his feet up as he stares off deviously. Then, another bar scene, shows Klaus as he points at Ray's chest in a threatening way.

The rest of the stills are all from Elena's (Nina Dobrev) birthday party at the Salvatore mansion. The first, features Matt (Zach Roerig) and a sad looking Caroline (Candice Accola), followed by another of Caroline talking to Tyler (Michael Trevino) at the party as well.

There is also another photo of Tyler and Caroline talking, that seems to be from before the party, as Caroline looks to be getting things ready.

Other stills from the party include one of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) as he sits drinking by himself on a wall, most likely thinking about Stefan and his turn to the dark side with Klaus. Another still shows Alaric (Matt Davis) joining Damon on the wall as they talk.

These two images lead to the previously released still, which features Elena talking to Damon and Alaric by the wall.

E! News' Kristin Dos Santos has been on a roll with TVD spoilers this week, and now she tells us that on the premiere episode of season 3, Caroline will become very jealous when she sees Tyler dancing with a new girl at Elena's (Nina Dobrev) birthday bash.

As we now know, the first episode will feature Elena's 18th birthday and, as was earlier reported, Tyler shows up to the bash with a new girlfriend. This new character is Sofie, played by Lilly Roberson, and apparently, when Caroline sees her at the party with Tyler she is none too happy - at all!

Russell Armstrong's body was found by his wife Taylor and a friend

When Russel Armstrong was found after he hung himself, his body was actually discovered by his estranged wife, Taylor, star of The Real Housewives if Beverly Hills, and a friend.

When it was first learned that Russell had committed suicide, authorities said he had been found at the home he was staying in by his roommate. However, as ET has reported, Taylor and a friend were also there to witness the discovery of the troubled business man's body.

ET claims that when Russell didn't show up for an appointment with Taylor on Monday afternoon she became worried. Later on, she went with a friend to check on him at the home where he was staying at in L.A., where they ran into the residence's owner.

Once inside the house, Taylor and her friend were there to witness the discovery of Russell's body.

When Taylor spoke of Russell's suicide earlier on Tuesday, she did not speak about her being there to discover her husband. Then, later in the day, Bravo TV ordered the full cast of RHOBH not to speak to any media about the incident. So, there is no word who this information came from, but ET confirms it to be true.

Taylor had been estranged from Russell since she filed for divorce last month. The couple was having financial troubles and had been feuding throughout their stint on the reality show.

Taylor also cited that Russell had been physically and verbally abusive, although Russell claims he may have just pushed her in the heat of the moment during an argument.

'Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder on Damon in season 3: He's the anti-hero

Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries recently gave some new dish on season 3 and revealed that his character, Damon, is going be the anti-hero.

Speaking to Zap2It about what's in store for the new season, Ian spilled some scoop on what will be happening with Damon, now that his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) has gone to the dark side.

"I was worried that Damon was becoming this hero, and [exec producer] Kevin [Williamson] said 'No, he's not the hero. He needs to be, but he's the anti-hero, because he's supposed to be not hurting people, but that's not his nature.'" Ian told Zap2It, "So he slips, and his response is 'Screw this.'"

Then, Ian added that this dynamic is what's going to make things interesting this season, "interesting for me as an actor and interesting for Damon as a character. I don't want to lose that quote-unquote 'bad' side of Damon.

Ian also spoke about Damon's anger at Stefan for going on a ripper rampage with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), which is what he wanted to do with his brother ever since he first came to Mystic Falls. He always wanted to go be 'bad vampires' with Stefan, but he denied him this. Now he's doing just that, but with a vampire who almost killed everyone they care about.

Teasing season 3 even more, Ian recently also talked about how his relationship with Elena (Nina Dobrev) is going to evolve. While it has been reported by exec producers Kevin and Julie Plec that there won't be any crazy love connections with Damon and Elena, the two will become closer friends and aware of their growing attraction to one another.

We'll see some evidence of this right away, when Elena celebrates her 18th birthday and Damon gives her a special and meaningful present.

"...he came across something that she really, really, really wanted and needed, and he did what he had to do to get it for her." Damon told Zap2It, "She thinks that he stole it, or that he found it. It's a very beautiful moment between them. It's a really sweet, quiet moment."

Meanwhile, Nina also had something to say about the gift when she spoke to ThinkHeroTV.
